Primary Sources
Primary sources are original documents or materials, which were created about an event or topic at the time that the event occurred. It is first-hand EVIDENCE! Examples are autobiographies, photographs, diaries, letters, oral history interviews, artifacts, video recordings, speeches, research data, songs, paintings, plays, memoirs and newspaper articles created at the time of the event.
